This is a high-impact contract role for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in PC-fired boiler design, maintenance, and optimization. You will lead engineering and onsite teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure the seamless operation of critical boiler systems across various project sites in Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PC-fired boilers, you will play a pivotal role in shaping maintenance strategies, troubleshooting complex technical challenges, and sharing best practices with cross-functional teams. Responsibility
- Lead and oversee engineering and onsite teams to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of PC-fired boiler systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimize boiler performance, reliability, and longevity.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for PC-fired boiler design, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of operational issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and performance assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Provide technical training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in boiler engineering to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in boiler engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in PC-fired boiler design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of boiler safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., ASME, NFPA, ISO).
- Experience working in contract or project-based roles, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Badung) as required.
