Responsibility
- Conduct root-cause analysis and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to resolve plant downtime and inefficiencies.
- Develop and implement short-term maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and enhance overall plant productivity.
- Design and oversee the installation of mechanical modifications or upgrades to improve system reliability and energy efficiency.
- Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for management review.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for procurement, installation, and servicing of mechanical components and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering within manufacturing, chemical, or industrial plants.
- Proven expertise in plant troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and system optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety protocols and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, OSHA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
