Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components for engineering projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and technical analyses to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and resolve engineering challenges through innovative problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to foster team growth and development.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a proven track record in project delivery.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with sustainable engineering practices and green technologies is highly desirable.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
