Responsibility
- Lead and manage geotechnical investigations, including site assessments, soil testing, and data analysis.
- Develop and review geotechnical designs, reports, and recommendations for various projects.
- Provide expert advice on foundation design, slope stability, and ground improvement techniques.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the implementation of geotechnical solutions and monitor project progress to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for geotechnical hazards.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the geotechnical team.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (Ir.) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a proven track record in project leadership.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical software and tools (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, gINT).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing geotechnical investigations and preparing detailed reports.
- Familiarity with local and international geotechnical standards and regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
