Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) for healthcare facilities
- Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and tender documents
- Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific standards (JCI, ISO, local regulations)
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
- Conduct site inspections and supervise installation of mechanical systems
- Perform energy efficiency analysis and recommend sustainable solutions
- Troubleshoot system failures and develop maintenance protocols
- Prepare progress reports and present to senior management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering for building infrastructure
- Proven track record with healthcare facility projects (hospitals, medical centers)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM software
- Strong knowledge of international healthcare standards and local building codes
- Excellent project management and team leadership skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
