Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, and fire protection systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for M&E components.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery of M&E works.
- Perform quality control inspections and troubleshoot system failures to ensure optimal performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the project team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in M&E engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from design to completion.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., SNI, IEC, NFPA).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or similar design and simulation software.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient M&E systems is highly desirable.
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, PMP, or LEED AP) is an advantage.
