Responsibility
- Lead the design and planning of mechanical and electrical systems for building services projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEC, SNI).
- Oversee the administration of M&E contracts, including tender evaluations, cost estimations, and project scheduling to meet deadlines and budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and contractors, to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify the quality and performance of installed M&E systems, addressing any technical issues promptly.
- Develop and implement energy-efficient and sustainable solutions, such as HVAC optimization, renewable energy integration, and smart building technologies.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and clarity for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance project outcomes and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in M&E engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role for building services projects.
- Proven expertise in designing and managing M&E systems for commercial, residential, or hospitality projects in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, or Dialux, for M&E design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations (e.g., SNI, PUPR) and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IEC, NFPA) governing M&E systems.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring teams and driving collaborative success.
