Responsibility
- Develop detailed mechanical drawings and designs using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Lead drafting projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to refine designs and address technical challenges.
- Review and validate mechanical designs for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior drafters and designers.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in mechanical design and drafting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical drafting and design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Experience in a global or multicultural work setting is a plus.
