Responsibility
- Oversee and manage commercial engineering projects from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to align project objectives with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and risk evaluations for new commercial developments.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure all engineering works comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Liaise with government authorities, clients, and vendors to secure necessary approvals and permits.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to junior engineers and on-site teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., P.E.) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial engineering, with a focus on property development or construction.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale commercial projects from inception to handover.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning laws, and industry best practices in Southeast Asia.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or other engineering software.
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
