Responsibility
- Oversee and execute daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods with precision and efficiency.
- Operate and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers in compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control systems, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to prioritize shipments, optimize space utilization, and meet delivery deadlines.
- Train and mentor junior staff on best practices for material handling, safety procedures, and equipment operation.
- Implement and monitor SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including shipping logs, inventory reports, and incident records.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure all materials meet company and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related logistics role.
- Proven expertise in operating MHE (Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc.) with valid certification (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required by the role.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and supervise team members effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA, local guidelines) and commitment to maintaining a zero-accident workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve operational challenges proactively.
