Responsibility
- Source and procure materials, goods, and services from local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure the best pricing and delivery conditions.
- Manage supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and align with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to optimize procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline importation processes and resolve any supply chain issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess costs, risks, and supplier performance.
- Knowledge of importation regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards in handling procurement transactions.
