Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Coordinate purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and payment conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse teams to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance using procurement software.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align procurement activities with budgetary constraints.
- Resolve supply chain disruptions and escalate issues to management with proposed solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and emerging suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination (internships included).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
