Responsibility
- Develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies tailored to APAC markets, with a focus on customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with creative, product, and regional teams to align campaigns with business objectives.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the APAC fintech landscape.
- Optimize multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, email, partnerships) to maximize ROI and engagement across diverse audiences.
- Define and track KPIs and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to refine strategies and report to stakeholders.
- Spearhead localization efforts for marketing content, ensuring cultural relevance and compliance across APAC regions.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation within the marketing team.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in fintech, payments, and digital marketing to position Wise as a thought leader.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing strategy, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role in APAC markets.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling successful marketing campaigns in fintech, e-commerce, or related industries.
- Deep understanding of APAC consumer behavior, regional nuances, and digital ecosystems (e.g., WeChat, LINE, local search engines).
- Expertise in data analytics tools (Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau) and A/B testing methodologies.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Experience managing budgets, agencies, and vendors to deliver high-impact projects on time and within scope.
- Fluency in English (required); proficiency in an APAC language (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
