Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems, including specifications, procedures, and training materials.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed automation projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all automation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated systems, implementing continuous improvements as needed.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in automation and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, with a focus on automation.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software, PLC programming, and industrial robotics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
