Responsibility
- Lead and provide senior-level technical support for manufacturing engineering initiatives, including process optimization, industrial engineering, and quality control.
- Develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production lines.
- Design and execute process validation, testing, and continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and internal quality management systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to production staff on best practices and problem-solving techniques.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Support new product introductions (NPI) by contributing to DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews and prototyping.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or technical support within electronics, automotive, or precision engineering industries.
- Proven expertise in process improvement, root cause analysis (RCA), and statistical process control (SPC).
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies. Certification (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a bonus.
