Responsibility
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for marine vessels, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and structural components.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects, providing expert recommendations.
- Oversee the testing, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the engineering team.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and manuals.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in electrical engineering.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design and engineering, preferably in the maritime or industrial sector.
- Proven expertise in electrical system design, including power distribution, control systems, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and regulations, such as IEC, IEEE, and SOLAS.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, ETAP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Experience working in multicultural teams and a willingness to relocate to Bali.
