Responsibility

  • Lead the development, validation, and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment to support new product introductions (NPI) and existing product improvements.
  • Optimize production workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize operational costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering changes and process improvements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for manufacturing defects, utilizing data-driven methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing.
  • Design and oversee the fabrication of custom tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve production precision and repeatability.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, materials, and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronics, automotive, or precision engineering industries.
  • Proven expertise in process development, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), and DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
  • Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab), and ERP/MES systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen principles with a track record of driving operational improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
