Responsibility
- Lead manual testing efforts for APIs, SQL queries, and software applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide QA insights.
- Perform regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Conduct API testing to validate data integrity, response times, and error handling.
- Execute SQL queries to validate database integrity, data accuracy, and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manual QA testing, with a strong focus on API and SQL validation.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating databases.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
