Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and validation of automated test systems for power electronics, including AC/DC, DC/DC converters, and power supplies.
- Drive test strategy alignment with product requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, UL, CE).
- Optimize test processes to improve yield, reduce defects, and enhance production efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate test solutions from prototyping to mass production.
- Develop and implement data-driven test methodologies using statistical analysis and root-cause analysis (RCA).
- Manage test equipment selection, calibration, and maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Mentor and lead a team of test engineers, fostering technical growth and innovation.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in automated testing, AI/ML for defect detection, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in test development engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in automated test systems (ATE) for power electronics, including hardware/software integration.
- Strong knowledge of test standards (IEC, MIL-STD, DO-160) and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C++, LabVIEW) and test automation frameworks.
- Experience with data analysis tools (JMP, MATLAB, or similar) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
