Responsibility
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with IATF 16949 and other relevant automotive industry standards.
- Oversee QA/QC processes, including incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product testing to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Procurement) to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure raw materials and components meet quality standards.
- Develop and monitor KPIs and quality metrics (e.g., PPM, DPMO, First-Time Right) to track performance and report to senior leadership.
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer audits, and ensure timely closure of non-conformances.
- Train and mentor quality teams and production staff on best practices, quality tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, FMEA), and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Management within the automotive manufacturing sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other automotive quality standards (e.g., VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP).
- Certified Lead Auditor (IATF 16949) or equivalent is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in implementing QMS, process improvements, and defect reduction programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in quality tools (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, 8D).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
