Responsibility
- Perform In-Process Quality Control (IPQC) inspections to verify compliance with production standards and specifications.
- Conduct Incoming Quality Control (IQC) checks on raw materials and components to ensure they meet required quality benchmarks.
- Execute Final Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections to confirm finished products adhere to customer and engineering drawings.
- Document and report quality deviations, non-conformities, and corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive measures.
- Utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and testing equipment to assess product dimensions and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection results, test data, and quality metrics for traceability and compliance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within the automotive, manufacturing, or precision engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949), and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment to verify product specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and non-conformities.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
