Responsibility
- Lead the strategic planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure projects to support Gardens By The Bay's operational and business objectives.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all IT systems, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, compliance, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and deliver solutions that enhance visitor experiences and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovations that align with the organization's goals and budget.
- Ensure the seamless integration of IT systems with third-party vendors and partners, maintaining strong relationships and service level agreements.
- Drive cost-effective IT solutions by optimizing resources, negotiating with vendors, and implementing efficient procurement strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in managing enterprise-level IT systems, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing IT professionals.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or eco-tourism industry is highly desirable.
