Responsibility
- Design, develop, and deploy Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced AI systems for real-world applications.
- Optimize and fine-tune transformer-based models for performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build end-to-end ML pipelines, from data preprocessing to model serving.
- Implement prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and other techniques to enhance model accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and maintain AI infrastructure (e.g., vector databases, model APIs, and inference engines) for high-throughput systems.
- Conduct A/B testing and performance benchmarking to iteratively improve AI models.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in generative AI, reinforcement learning, and multimodal models to drive innovation.
- Document technical processes and contribute to best practices for AI/ML development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on LLMs, NLP, or deep learning.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Strong understanding of model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation) and scalable AI deployment.
- Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), LLM fine-tuning, and prompt engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Bonus: Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research in ML/AI.
