Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for Android Automotive OS (AAOS) based infotainment systems
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of automotive software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and system architects to ensure software quality
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using frameworks like Appium, Espresso, or similar
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders with actionable insights
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and quality requirements (ISO 26262, ASPICE)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in automotive infotainment systems
- Strong experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or Android Open Source Project (AOSP)
- Proficient in test automation frameworks (Appium, Espresso, Robot Framework, or similar)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Knowledge of automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, MOST) is a plus
- Familiarity with automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE) is advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
