Responsibility
- Assist the Head of IT in developing and implementing the company’s IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including infrastructure, networks, and systems, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity protocols are in place to protect company data, systems, and intellectual property.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement processes to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and compliance standards in accordance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technology needs and deliver scalable IT solutions that support business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, network management, cybersecurity, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT) and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in budgeting, vendor management, and strategic planning for IT initiatives.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or ITIL are highly advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and adapt to evolving technological landscapes.
