Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Optimize existing automation scripts for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Implement and enforce best practices in test automation, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation failures, ensuring timely resolution.
- Document automation processes, frameworks, and test cases for team reference.
- Stay updated with emerging trends in test automation and recommend improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality and automation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in software development with a focus on test automation.
- Strong proficiency in backend or full-stack development (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
