Responsibility
- Cloud Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with business goals, including migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
- Infrastructure Leadership: Oversee the design, deployment, and management of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing cloud engineering and operations team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Cost Optimization: Implement FinOps best practices to monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending without compromising performance or security.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure robust security protocols, compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2), and proactive risk management.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with C-level executives, product teams, and vendors to align cloud initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Design and maintain resilient systems with failover mechanisms and backup strategies to minimize downtime.
- Innovation & Automation: Drive automation (IaC, CI/CD) and adopt emerging technologies (AI/ML, serverless, containers) to enhance efficiency and agility.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 10+ years in cloud architecture, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect).
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Security Mindset: Experience implementing zero-trust security models, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and drive large-scale cloud projects.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a track record of resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
