Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of mechanical and electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure the quality and safety of M&E installations.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and reports for M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection.
- Monitor project progress and address any technical issues or delays related to M&E systems.
- Ensure all M&E installations adhere to sustainability and energy efficiency best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant design software.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
- Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, and fire protection systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
