Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Architect and deploy scalable microservices on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, etc.) with CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.
- Implement security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, refine specifications, and deliver solutions on time.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and advocate for their adoption where applicable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development, with at least 2 years in Spring Boot.
- Proven expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Strong proficiency in REST API design, microservices architecture, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA).
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven/Gradle) and monitoring (Prometheus, ELK).
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
