Responsibility
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios for manual and automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality standards.
- Perform regression, functional, performance, and security testing to validate software integrity.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with emerging testing technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance QA processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and SDLC phases.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with API, database, and mobile application testing is a plus.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications are advantageous.
