Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level server, virtualization, and storage infrastructure
- Manage and optimize VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms for maximum performance and reliability
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments in a mixed OS environment
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for critical systems
- Monitor system performance, capacity planning, and resource allocation to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration between systems and network infrastructure
- Automate routine tasks and implement DevOps practices to improve operational efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
- Stay current with emerging technologies and make recommendations for infrastructure improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT system engineering or enterprise infrastructure management
- Strong expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM)
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux administration
- Familiarity with storage solutions (SAN, NAS, or software-defined storage)
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and management
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications such as MCSE, RHCE, VMware VCP, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
