Responsibility
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects for banking clients, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in IT project management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, including status reports and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience managing IT projects in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (Jira, Trello, MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM are highly desirable.
- Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment is a plus.
