Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD), including user/group management, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and authentication protocols.
- Oversee VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) for efficient resource allocation and disaster recovery.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and load balancers, to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce cybersecurity best practices, compliance standards, and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead infrastructure migration projects, including cloud integration (Azure/AWS) and on-premises upgrades.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to uplift team capabilities.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for audit and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Windows Server, AD, and VMware.
- Proven expertise in managing Active Directory (Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, DFS) and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
- Strong proficiency in VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, HA/DRS) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN) and enterprise-grade hardware (Cisco, Dell, HP).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS) and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or ITIL are highly advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
