Responsibility
- Lead and execute IT audit engagements for banking clients, focusing on systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, IT governance frameworks, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Basel III, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
- Identify and evaluate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data integrity, and operational vulnerabilities.
- Develop and present audit reports with actionable recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement remediation plans and monitor progress.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, blockchain, AI) and their impact on audit methodologies.
- Provide advisory services on IT risk management, control frameworks, and best practices.
- Mentor junior auditors and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on the banking or financial services sector.
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA are highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, BI regulations).
- Proven expertise in auditing banking systems, including core banking, payment processing, and digital channels.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with fluency in English.
- Experience with audit tools (e.g., ACL, IDEA, TeamMate) and familiarity with data analytics.
