Responsibility
- Project Leadership: Spearhead end-to-end management of IT application projects, from planning and execution to delivery and post-implementation review.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and maintain IT governance policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO, ITIL) and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business units to identify needs, translate them into technical requirements, and align IT solutions with organizational goals.
- Vendor & Resource Management: Oversee third-party vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
- System Optimization: Evaluate existing applications, recommend improvements, and implement upgrades to enhance performance, security, and user adoption.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate IT-related risks, including cybersecurity threats, data integrity, and system downtime.
- Innovation & Strategy: Drive digital transformation initiatives by researching emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, AI, automation) and proposing scalable solutions.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop IT staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications in PMP, ITIL, or COBIT are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years in IT project management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role overseeing application development and governance.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HRIS), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and agile methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and budgets in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to diagnose complex IT issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with education, nonprofit, or large-scale enterprise IT systems is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Strategic mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to driving organizational change through technology.
