Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address potential risks to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure secure and efficient IT operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies, tools, and software solutions.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance cybersecurity and data protection.
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees, resolving IT-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Oversee backup and disaster recovery processes to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve IT operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proven expertise in managing Windows/Linux servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
- Experience with cybersecurity best practices, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and compliance.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and system management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
