Responsibility
- Lead the interior design process from concept to completion, including space planning, material selection, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is executed seamlessly across all project phases.
- Develop detailed design documentation, including mood boards, 3D renderings, construction drawings, and material schedules.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve design challenges, and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Present design concepts to clients, stakeholders, and senior management, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance proposals.
- Stay abreast of global design trends, sustainable practices, and emerging technologies to innovate and elevate project outcomes.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing luxury hospitality, residential, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and 3D rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, V-Ray).
- Strong understanding of space planning, building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainability principles.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment and managing client relationships with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of local materials, suppliers, and construction practices in Bali or Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
