Responsibility
- Lead the design process for hospitality projects from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives and HBA’s design standards.
- Develop innovative design concepts, space planning, and material selections that enhance guest experiences in luxury hotels, resorts, and F&B venues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Prepare and present design proposals, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee the selection and procurement of furniture, fixtures, and finishes (FF&E) while managing budgets and timelines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve design challenges, and ensure quality control.
- Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction to support their professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging materials, and sustainable design practices to maintain HBA’s competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in hospitality projects (hotels, resorts, F&B spaces).
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of space planning, FF&E specification, and construction documentation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and local building codes in Indonesia is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are advantageous.
