Responsibility
- Develop custom interior design concepts for high-end residential and commercial projects in Bali, aligning with client visions and brand identities.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.
- Source and specify premium materials, furnishings, and finishes from our curated network of global and local suppliers.
- Create detailed 3D renderings, mood boards, and technical drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).
- Manage client relationships, presenting design proposals and providing expert guidance on space optimization, color schemes, and lighting.
- Oversee project budgets and timelines, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or design integrity.
- Stay ahead of emerging design trends and sustainable practices to incorporate innovative, eco-friendly solutions into projects.
- Mentor junior designers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain Editor Interior’s reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., NCIDQ, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end interior design, with a portfolio showcasing luxury residential or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and 3D visualization tools.
- Strong knowledge of materials, construction methods, and building codes relevant to Bali and international standards.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles and experience sourcing eco-friendly materials.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or travel as needed for site visits and client meetings.
