Responsibility
- Lead space planning, test fits, and conceptual design for commercial and workplace projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand identity.
- Develop detailed design packages, including floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and material specifications using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate structural, MEP, and sustainability requirements into interior designs.
- Conduct site visits and post-occupancy evaluations to assess space utilization and recommend improvements for future projects.
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders with compelling visuals and data-driven insights to secure project approvals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in workplace design, including hybrid work models, wellness-focused interiors, and sustainable materials.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor coordination to ensure seamless execution from concept to completion.
- Mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of creativity, precision, and client-centric problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial or workplace interior design, with a portfolio showcasing large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design principles (LEED, WELL, or similar certifications preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with international clients and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally for site visits or client meetings (regionally or internationally).
