Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate shift operations to ensure optimal productivity and safety compliance.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems.
- Lead and mentor a team of operators, providing training and performance evaluations.
- Monitor process variables (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.) and adjust systems as needed to maintain efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and process improvements.
- Document operational data, incidents, and maintenance activities for auditing and analysis.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in instrumentation, automation, or process control within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in shift-based operations.
- Proficiency in DCS (Distributed Control Systems), PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, calibration procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or OHSAS 18001 standards is a plus.
