Responsibility
- Design, develop, and commission instrumentation and control systems for industrial, oil & gas, or power generation projects.
- Program and configure PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), SCADA (Ignition, WinCC), and DCS (Honeywell, Emerson) systems.
- Conduct HAZOP studies, loop checks, and system validation to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards (IEC, ISA, API).
- Lead field instrumentation calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance for sensors, transmitters, and actuators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering designs.
- Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents for instrumentation equipment.
- Provide on-site commissioning support and resolve system-related issues during startup phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians in best practices for control system design and implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in instrumentation & control engineering, preferably in oil & gas, power plants, or industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text), SCADA/DCS platforms, and HMI development.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (IEC 61131, ISA-88, API 670, NEMA, IP ratings).
- Experience with field instruments (pressure/flow/temperature transmitters, control valves, analyzers).
- Familiarity with autoCAD, EPLAN, or 3D modeling tools for system design.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites (domestic/international) as required.
