Responsibility
- Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure performance issues for global clients using advanced monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Design, implement, and optimize network architectures to enhance scalability, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system outages, latency issues, and capacity constraints.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
- Proactively monitor system health, identify potential risks, and recommend preventive measures to mitigate downtime.
- Provide expert-level consultancy on cloud migration, hybrid environments, and performance tuning for enterprise applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement long-term solutions.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in infrastructure, networking, and cloud services to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, or performance consulting.
- Strong expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), firewalls, load balancers, and routing/switching.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Datadog).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or AWS/Azure Certifications are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work night shifts (aligned with global client time zones) and thrive in a remote work environment.
