Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-availability infrastructure (cloud, on-prem, or hybrid) to support mission-critical applications.
- Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning to ensure minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Optimize system performance through monitoring, capacity planning, and automation (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, IaC).
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2) and harden infrastructure against threats.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in infrastructure best practices and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible) to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement proactive solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Document architecture, configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational clarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure/GCP, CCNP, ITIL) are a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on enterprise or mission-critical systems.
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises infrastructure (servers, storage, networking).
- Strong knowledge of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Deep understanding of security principles (firewalls, VPNs, IAM, encryption) and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid or on-site model in Bali, with occasional travel for project requirements.
