Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions to protect Singtelâs infrastructure and customer data from cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead incident response efforts, including threat detection, analysis, containment, and recovery.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT, engineering, and business teams to integrate security into all aspects of operations.
- Monitor security systems, analyze logs, and investigate anomalies to proactively detect and prevent breaches.
- Provide expert guidance on security architecture, compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR), and emerging threats.
- Mentor junior security team members and promote a culture of security awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on technical roles (e.g., security engineering, SOC, incident response).
- Strong expertise in security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation for security tasks.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in high-stakes situations.
- Strong communication skills to articulate security risks and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
