Responsibility
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, leading rapid response and forensic investigations to contain and resolve threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security-by-design principles into IT projects and DevOps pipelines.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s defensive posture.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees and stakeholders to foster a culture of cybersecurity.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of security architectures, incident reports, and compliance audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP certifications are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in information security, with expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), EDR/XDR solutions, and security automation.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK) and compliance standards (GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and security testing tools (Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate security risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in remote or distributed teams is highly desirable.
