Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain industrial software solutions for manufacturing automation equipment.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications.
- Implement and optimize software algorithms to enhance the performance and reliability of automation systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software meets quality standards and functional requirements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed software solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in software development practices.
- Document software designs, development processes, and user manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial software development, with a focus on manufacturing automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI development is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
