Responsibility
- Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to identify bottlenecks and propose data-driven solutions.
- Design and improve workstation layouts, material flow, and ergonomic standards to maximize productivity.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and labor standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), cycle time, and defect rates.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, including cost reduction initiatives and waste elimination programs.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices in industrial engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in manufacturing or production environments.
- Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process optimization methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or ERP systems).
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for layout design and process simulation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
