Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive work studies and time-motion analyses to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment capacity and utilization.
- Develop and implement productivity metrics, including labor efficiency, machine utilization, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Identify process inefficiencies and bottlenecks using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to optimize workflows and reduce operational waste.
- Design and deploy data-driven solutions to enhance manufacturing throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve factory layout, material flow, and ergonomic workplace design.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices for industrial engineering and process improvement.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, or manufacturing operations, preferably in the tech or electronics industry.
- Proven expertise in work study, time-motion analysis, and lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, SQL) and industrial engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, FlexSim, or similar).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across teams.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin) are an advantage.
