Responsibility
- Architect and deploy enterprise-grade security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead incident response efforts, investigating breaches, containing threats, and implementing remediation measures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address system weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Monitor security infrastructure 24/7, analyzing logs and alerts to detect and neutralize potential threats.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security-by-design principles into applications and infrastructure.
- Provide security awareness training for employees to foster a culture of cyber vigilance.
- Stay ahead of emerging threats by researching new attack vectors and recommending proactive countermeasures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT security, with a focus on network security, incident response, or threat intelligence.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., Splunk, Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Deep understanding of cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and zero-trust architecture principles.
- Proven ability to analyze complex security data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset toward threat mitigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
